Un got d'aigua i un ou. Els nens de Nicaragua, durant la Pasqua, seguien aquesta tradició, la d'abocar l'ou fresc dins de l'aigua i deixar-lo reposar al sol per observar, més tard, quines formes havia dibuixat i llegir-hi el seu futur. Però aquest joc s'ha perdut. Després de la revolució sandinista, viscuda entre finals dels '70 i primers dies dels '80, sembla que els nens no tinguin somnis a complir.El director català Joan López Lloret, ha construït un interessant recorregut a aquells dies de somni i desil·lusió de la lluita sandinista. Per fer-ho, a Utopia 79, ha recorregut a testimonis de catalans que, descontents amb com s'havia dut a terme la transició espanyola, van decidir viatjar a Nicaragua i col·laborar i viure la seva revolució. A banda d'ells, entre qui destaca la figura de Walter Tauber, periodista que treballà com a corresponsal durant aquella època al país, també n'és protagonista el poble nicaragüenc. Gràcies a la col·laboració amb el Institut Nicaragüense de Cine, principal productor de films propagandistes revolucionaris d'aleshores, el film compta amb un extens recull d'imatges que testimonien el període.
Naixem, creixem, ens reproduïm i morim. Una revolució fa el mateix. Els somnis es conceben, es fan grans, es realitzen... i un dia desapareixen. Mirar enrere, mirar cara a cara a un somni viscut i perdut, no deixa de ser, contradictòriament, esperançador.
Un documental de regust amarg on falta una mica de contextualització.
